I received an arc from the publisher via Net Galley
I love graphic novels, they are perfect for when I am in-between reads or I need a break from fantasy heavy books. That was totally the case here and its totally worth the read.
Our main character Moth loves all things witchy and surprise is actually comes from a long line of witches. We meet Moth in Founder’s Bluff, Massachusetts, which I consider a version of Salem, MA. Founder’s Bluff has a centuries long history of witch drama, and witch hunters. I love Moth and Mr. Laszio her cat. This story follows her struggles of finding out she is a witch and the places it takes her. What I loved most though is the representation. I just could imagine little Bianca reading this and feeling seen.
I just really loved it and think everyone should read it when it comes out. It comes out September 3, 2019, so keep your eyes out for it.
