It’s a little late one, but better late than never. It’s been a crazy week, but I do love an unboxing and April’s box was a good one.
The theme for April was the Dark Side. When you look on Owlcrate’s instagram they said that this box was all about switching to the dark side and morally gray characters. I love when characters run on the gray side.
I want to talk about the socks first, I love when socks are included and these ones are pretty cool. They are official Six of Crows merch from Out of Print. I’m just slightly obsessed with them. Also this scarf from Bookmark’d tattoos, is gorgeous. Purple is my favorite color and I have already worn this loads, it also works great as a head scarf.
My favorite thing though is probably this banner for all the pins. I was literally thinking of ways I could DIY a banner for all my pins since my collection is growing. Luckily I now have this one and don’t need to make one. I love that it is black and works well with the pins. The exclusive pin in this months box pops agains it really well.
I love pop sockets and find them to really useful, needless to say I swiped out my old one for this one. I love all things VE Schwab and need more bookish merch inspired from her worlds. One can never have too many notebooks, lately I’ve been really into top folding notebooks and this one inspired by SJM world is perfect and I’m obsessed with the quote. We also got a Finale sampler, which is cool. It just made me excited for the limited edition box from Owlcrate which I can wait to get.
The book included was Wicked Saints by Emily Duncan. I just love how dark and cool this exclusive cover is. It’s one that has been on my list and was super excited to get. I had already bought it, but that’s alright, I’m debating about doing a giveaway with it or donating. Let me know what you think.
A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.
A prince in danger must decide who to trust.
A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.
Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.
In a centuries-long war where beauty and brutality meet, their three paths entwine in a shadowy world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light. Wicked Saints is the thrilling start to Emily A. Duncan’s devastatingly Gothic Something Dark and Holy trilogy..
