With another month comes another Owlcrate unboxing. This month had some really cool things included. March’s theme was Murder and Mayhem
The big thing included was a travel mug inspired by Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. It was designed by Catarina Book Designs. I’m obsessed with it and have been using it on the daily. I mainly drink tea and love ceramic mugs so this is perfect for when I’m commuting to work. There was also a drawstring bag designed by Michelle Gray, its not that big but super cute and could see myself using it for a quick trip out.
One can not have too many bookmarks. I love when there is one from Ink and Wonder, I have a growing collection from them and continue to want all of them. This one is Game of Thrones inspired. Candles I love them and some of my favorites have come from Owlcrate. This candle was created by In The Wick of Time. There were three different candles included, so it was a surprise in which one you would get. The candles were inspired by the monsters of Verity, This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab is one of my all time favorite duologies. I got Corsai, it has notes of blackberry, cherry and lime. I haven’t burned it yet, but it smells divine. I love sticker and Owlcrate always includes really nice high quality sticker. This one was illustrated by Jamila Melino and is inspired by Three Dark Crowns by Kendra Blake, another favorite series of mine.
The March book is Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte. This book had been on my radar for a minute, so I was excited to see it included in this box.
Seventeen-year-old Keralie Corrington may seem harmless, but she’s, in fact, one of Quadara’s most skilled thieves and a liar. Varin, on the other hand, is an honest, upstanding citizen of Quadara’s most enlightened region, Eonia. He runs afoul of Keralie when she steals a package from him, putting his life in danger. When Varin attempts to retrieve the package, he and Keralie both find themselves entangled in a conspiracy that leaves all four of Quadara’s queens dead.
With no other choices and on the run from Keralie’s former employer, the two decide to join forces, endeavoring to discover who has killed the queens and save their own lives in the process. When their reluctant partnership blooms into a tenuous romance, they must overcome their own dark secrets in hopes of a future together that seemed impossible just days before. But first they have to stay alive and untangle the secrets behind the nation’s four dead queens.
The exclusive pin this month was designed by Iron and Ink Designs. It is a compass to represent the four quadrants from Four Dead Queens. With all the pins that I know are coming. I’m now looking to find a way to display them. If you have a lot of pins how do you like to display them?
